The Golden Rule

The Golden Rule is a fact that should tell you how to make business.

It is very simple: you should muted to other people like you wish that other people muted to you.
So when you are always nice to other people, they would be nice to you. The same is otherberound.

You have to different types of The Golden Rule.
The positive and negative one.
I think it is clear what it means.
When you are nice to people they would be nice to you.
When you are not nice to them, they can´t stand you anymore, they are not nice to you-

Unbelievable but true. I can imagine this without a rule, but nice that somebody wrote it down and give it a name.

Review Break Even

The Break Even discribe this point which you need to achieve for make no loss / no win.

The Break Even is calculatet through the fixed costs* divided by the unit contribution*.

For calculate the unit contribution you need to subtract the variable costs* from the selling prise*.

But I think it is more intressting to know how much is your profit.
Therefor you have to subtract the total costs* from the total revenue*

The constribution is the selling price* minus the variable costs*

****************
fixed costs = all what not change (rent, light)
variable cost = costs which can change (materials)
unit contribution = profit from each single product
selling price = price from the product
total costs = all money which you need
total revenue = all money you earn by selling your products

Motivation

Here are some ideas to motivate your workers:
Taylor told that you can raise the productivity when you pay your workers per piece rate.
It is also good to let your workers know that they are a part of your company. Show this with special trainings.
Mayo told that peaople work harder when they think they are more important.
Herzberg told that money is not for motivation because when somebody know´s that he get his money he is not motivated to work. So it is better when you praise them.

break spaghetti

You ever tried to break a raw spaghetti into two pieces?
When you take the spaghetti at the ends and try it it dosen´t work.
They split always in 3 or more pieces.
The reason:
when you turn the ends you make break it at first in two pieces but there is a tension which is so big that the single pieces break there self again

Ant´s in microwaves

Yeah it is unbelievable but when you put some ant´s ( it dosen´t matter how much) and switch the microwave ON... the ant´s don´t care about it and do what they want.

The reason is that a microwave only makes liquid warm or hot and ant´s small animals without water in.

Think And Grow Rich

Chapter 1 :
This chapter starts telling two stories of two men named Barnes and Darby who went about to transate their desires into reality by thinking, being determined and taking the next step beyond the point at which they felt defeat had overtaken them rather than giving up on their desires.

Chapter 2:
On this chapter, N. Hill explains deeply the power of desire in the achievement of our goals. "Desire, The Starting Point Of All Achievement" means that you have to mix the will for gaining something with the possibility of getting it. All the great inventors had a big desire to materialize their ideas, that's why they succeeded in their tasks. Edison, Marconi, Volta, the Wright brothers... All of them wanted so much to reach their dreams. That is the second key point in business, dream. Don't be afraid to be a big dreamer, because the more you dream, the more you want to reach success. You need to meddle with your dreams, ideas, beliefs so they become part of you. "There is a difference between wishing for a thing and being ready to receive it. No one is ready for a thing until he or she believes it can be acquired." as the book says. Also it insists on the fact that each crisis carries an opportunity after it. Bad things have to be balanced with good things, so no bad circumstance comes without a posterior reward. It's the basis of equilibrium, every system has its own methods to counteract the variations by setting up something of equal magnitude and opposite sense."Our only limitations are those we set up in our own minds.” That means we can make things happen if and only if we wish them to be done, if we act with passion and perseverance to achieve them. The example given in the book of the last statement is the author's own son. He was born with no ears - he should be deaf mute - but with his parents' desire of teaching him how to hear and speak, adding hard effort and perseverance, the boy could hear and speak. At the end, the hearing skill was improved with a technological aid, so he supported the manufacturing company to create best ways to help deaf mutes. His parents' effort was worth.
